Silver Lake
Blaine Wilson of Murrieta hooked into a fish of a lifetime when he drug in this Monster of a Brown weighing in at 19 pounds 3 oz. Yes…. 19 POUNDS 3 OUNCES!!!! A New Lake Record here at Silver Lake according to our Records. A True Fish of a Lifetime!! Blaine hooked into this Monster on a boat near the outlet of Silver Lake where it dumps into Rush Creek. The story goes that he hooked into this Monster using 6 pound test on his reel while using a good old Night Crawler and of course the net Blaine and his good buddy had was way to small. So with a little patience and some good luck Blaine landed this Monster without a net. Better to be lucky then good in my opinion. Look for the Monster Brown to be mounted and displayed proudly with Blaine’s name on it at the Silver Lake Resort store in the near future. Great Job Blaine!!
